1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to DoraRide ("DoraRide", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the DoraRide mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

DoraRide provides a technology platform that connects:

• Drivers providing transportation services

3. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain updated information
• Not create multiple accounts
• Not transfer your account to others

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining password confidentiality
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Fare Calculation

Fares are calculated based on:

• Base fare
• Distance traveled
• Time spent
• Dynamic pricing factors (surge pricing)
• Applicable taxes and fees

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept: Credit/Debit cards, Mobile wallets, and other payment methods as specified.

5.3 Cancellation Fees

• Riders may cancel rides without charge within 2 minutes of booking
• After 2 minutes, a cancellation fee may apply
• Drivers may cancel rides according to our Cancellation Policy

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Rider Responsibilities

• Be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time
• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
• No smoking in vehicles
• No illegal activities
• Pay all applicable fees
• No alcohol consumption in vehicles

6.2 Driver Responsibilities

• Maintain valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition
• Provide safe, professional service
• No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, etc.
• Comply with all traffic laws

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use Services for illegal purposes
• Harm, threaten, or harass others
• Damage vehicles or property
• Smoke or consume alcohol in vehicles
• Carry weapons or illegal substances
• Circumvent payment systems
• Use Services while intoxicated
• Share offensive/obscene content

8. Cancellation Policy

8.1 Rider Cancellations

• Free cancellation within 2 minutes of booking
• Cancellation fee applies after 2 minutes
• Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension

8.2 Driver Cancellations

• Drivers should avoid excessive cancellations
• Cancellations affect driver ratings and incentives
• Repeated cancellations may lead to deactivation

9. Ratings System

9.1 Rating Exchange

• Riders and drivers rate each other after each trip
• Ratings are based on behavior, timeliness, and professionalism
• Minimum average rating required to maintain account

9.2 Rating Guidelines

Ratings should be based on: Timeliness, Professionalism, Vehicle condition, Safe driving, Overall experience.

10. Driver Requirements

To become a DoraRide driver, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have valid driver's license for at least 2 years
• Have clean driving record
• Have valid vehicle insurance
• Pass background check
• Maintain vehicle in good condition
• Complete onboarding process

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including Software, Trademarks, Logos, Content, and Technology are owned by DoraRide or its licensors.

11.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to: Download and use the mobile app, Access Services for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DoraRide, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws
• Your interactions with other users

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support or following account deletion procedures.

14.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you: Violate these Terms, Engage in illegal activities, Threaten safety of others, Have low rating scores, Engage in fraudulent activities.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve disputes informally.

15.2 Binding Arbitration

Any unresolved disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable Arbitration Association.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India (for Indian users) and Canada (for Canadian users), without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will: Post updated Terms on our website/app, Update "Last Updated" date, Provide notice of material changes. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
